Once Upon a Time

Relationship Clinics welcomes you to an innovative concept introduced by two seasoned clinical psychologists, Dr. Ivan Wolfson and Dr. Rashmi Pandey. With over 25 years of relationship experience and clinical expertise, they bring exclusivity and quality to enhancing the quality and experience of relationships—whether it’s one couple at a time or through larger group retreat intensives.

In our clinically tailored 12-hour weekend intensive treatment program, our goal is to help struggling couples arrive at a better place of clarity and comfort and overcome their particular relationship roadblocks. Our well-researched and applied Relationship Quotient Program (RQP) integrates therapeutic intervention of evidence-based relationship practice, Gottman Method as well as Emotionally Focused Therapy towards strengthening a couple's relationship and developing a mindful approach of deeper understanding of each-other.

Utilizing a hands-on clinical application for relationship success, individual's leave the intensive weekend experience with a sense of genuine connectedness with their partner, leading toward the development of a lifelong friendship, yet so much more. Your experience with our proven method will likely help build a solid foundation upon which to work on various relationship and conflict management issues and attain improved relationship health. It will help you unearth your life purpose as a couple and work toward the more regular practice of facing the plethora of real-life challenges, together!  With our inspiration and trust in Dr. John Gottman and Dr. Sue Johnson's relationship methods, our goal is to establish a deeper understanding for couples. With new tools and behavior patterns, couples discover their love languages for deeper trust and connection and gain a sense of admiration and appreciation in the relationship. 

Our scientifically based relationship weekend intensive program can jump-start your progress with a customized action plan of interviews, assessment, role plays, treatment and follow up which accelerates the pace of your healing. Having a practical and realistic method that couples can effectively adapt in their daily lives is what we specialize in. After we teach you the necessary skills, we will coach you during the session on how to effectively apply them with each other. Once your relationship has been given a chance at success, we can then have a honest conversation about compatibility if needed.

Dr. Rashmi Pandey

Dr. Pandey is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of professional experience in the field of Clinical Psychology. Her commitment is towards bringing positive change in an individual, couple or family through Evidence Based Practice and Cognitive restructuring of thought processes.

Dr. Pandey believes in intensive, solution focused treatment and specializes in relationship management with a diverse/multi-cultural approach. She has conducted educational seminars and lectures promoting relationship enhancement program in India and Australia and is a strong believer of respect-oriented relationship process. She believes in trust as the foundation of a strong therapeutic alliance between a patient and the clinician.

Dr. Pandey has gained international educational experience in the field of clinical psychology with degrees from University of Calcutta, India, University of Sydney, Australia and her Doctorate degree from Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. She trained at APA accredited Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital, Hoffman Estates, IL and Vista St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan, IL for her internship and post-doctoral fellowship. She had been an adjunct faculty and an active researcher at University of Chicago and has presented many papers at APA conventions and International Psychology Conferences. She recently published her first book "Attuned" as her professional memoir depicting the rewards and challenges of being a clinical psychologist. Dr. Pandey is on staff at Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, IL and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL and presently an active participant as a research fellow in the eating disorder research program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago.

Dr. Ivan Wolfson

Dr. Wolfson is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of professional experience in clinical psychology. He has a wealth of clinical experience in helping individuals and couples with a diverse range of clinical issues and personal relational concerns.

    • Graduated with his doctorate in clinical psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology.

    • An avid researcher, presenter, and advocate for relationship enhancement programs for over two decades.

  • Strongly believes in 'Goodness of Fit' and utilizes evidence-based clinical strategies tailored to the unique personality features of each couple on a case-by-case basis.

  • To provide effective individualized psychological attention to foster insight, facilitate problem resolution, and enhance quality of life.

Dr. Rashmi Pandey

Dr. Pandey is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of professional experience. She is committed to bringing positive change to individuals, couples, and families through Evidence-Based Practices and Cognitive Restructuring of thought processes.

    • Specializes in relationship management with a diverse/multicultural approach, emphasizing intensive, solution-focused treatment.

    • Strong believer in respect-oriented relationship processes and trust as the foundation of a strong therapeutic alliance.

    • Holds degrees from the University of Calcutta, University of Sydney, and Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago.

Dr. Ivan Wolfson

Dr. Ivan Wolfson is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience helping people address and work through a diverse range of clinical issues and personal/relational concerns. 

Dr. Wolfson has graduated with both his master’s and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. In addition to his extensive relationship treatment experience, he specializes in treating depression, anxiety, adjustment, ADHD, self-esteem, phase of life changes and issues pertaining to the older adult population. Dr. Wolfson has taught in the capacity of adjunct professor at DePaul University and has created several courses which have been taught at the university. He has also presented various professional educational seminars over the past two decades. He strongly believes in utilizing evidence based clinical strategies in couples' treatment. Dr. Wolfson recognizes the essential function of understanding the influence of each person’s unique personality features, coupled with their larger life experiences and belief systems in understanding why and how each individual responds and interacts in their relationships the way they do. With an in-depth understanding of this clinically relevant information, he tailors his integrative approach towards each individual/couple on a case-by-case basis. Dr. Wolfson’s professional objective is to provide effective and empathic individualized psychological attention to each person, which fosters insight, facilitates problem resolution and enhances one’s experienced quality of life.
